WH: Biden Will Leave Mechanics of Trump Impeach Trial to Senate

The freshly inaugurated president appears to be keeping at arm's length from the dust-up over impeachment, in which Donald Trump has been accused of inciting a violent insurrection at the Capitol with a rally and fiery rhetoric on Jan. 6. The House impeached Trump a week later, but has yet to pass the matter to the Senate for a trial.
